How to use this Wordle solver

Enter green letters in the exact slots you have locked. Put yellow letters in the yellow field (order does not imply position). Put eliminated letters in gray. Then search. The result list is a shortlist of five-letter candidates from our local word list — useful when today's puzzle has left you with too many lookalikes.

How this solver thinks about duplicates

If a letter is green or yellow, gray feedback for the same letter means “no additional copies,” not “absent entirely.” That matches official Wordle color logic and avoids false eliminations on words like APPLE. More context: duplicate letters.

When a solver helps vs when a hint helps

Use the solver after you have real tile feedback. If you still want a soft push before burning another guess, open today's Wordle hints and reveal one clue at a time. For pattern searches without a full board state, try the word finder. To see whether a final candidate already appeared, check used Wordle words.
