The result list is a shortlist of five-letter candidates from our local word list — useful when today's puzzle has left you with too many lookalikes.
If a letter is green or yellow, gray feedback for the same letter means “no additional copies,” not “absent entirely.” That matches official Wordle color logic and avoids false eliminations on words like APPLE. More context: duplicate letters.
